About Dark Hearth
Dark Hearth is a free minimalist text adventure that runs in your browser on phone and desktop. No download, no sign-up. You wake in a cold room with a fire to light. From there it grows: gather wood, build huts, take in villagers, set traps, trade, then head out into the wasteland to explore. It starts as a quiet idle game and slowly turns into something bigger. Progress saves in your browser, so you can come back any time.

Tips
- Keep the fire stoked early. The stranger who wanders in needs a warm room before she can help you build.
- Put spare villagers on wood and traps first. Steady wood and meat make everything else possible.
- Pack plenty of cured meat and water before you leave the village. Running out on the map ends the trip.
